Moms March to Stop the Spray

A march and rally this Mother’s Day weekend to highlight the movement across California to stop aerial and ground pesticide spraying, and other toxic methods of pest control.

PLEASE:

  1. Park at the periphery of the parking lot if possible.
  2. Bring hand made and printed signs. Feel free to be clever or keep it simple. (It would be great to have all the cities/groups participating represented, i.e; "San Francisco Moms Against the Spray" "Albany Moms to Stop the Spray", etc.)
  3. If you want, bring umbrellas to symbolize a protection from the spray - signs could be made right on the umbrellas...

DIRECTIONS FROM SAN FRANCISCO:

(to Corte Madera Town Center Shopping Mall, starting point of Moms March to Stop the Spray)

  1. Take US-101 N.
  2. Take the TAMALPAIS DR exit toward PARADISE DR. (Corte Madera)
  3. Turn LEFT onto TAMALPAIS DR.
  4. Turn RIGHT into CORTE MADERA TOWN CTR. (shopping mall)
  5. End at Charles Schwab storefront, 403 Corte Madera Town Ctr. This is at the Southwest end of the mall.

DIRECTIONS FROM EAST BAY:

(to Corte Madera Town Center Shopping Mall, starting point of Moms March to Stop the Spray)

  1. Cross Richmond-San Rafael bridge.
  2. Take the SIR FRANCIS DRAKE BLVD exit.
  3. Merge onto E SIR FRANCIS DRAKE BLVD.
  4. Merge onto US-101 S via the ramp on the LEFT toward SAN FRANCISCO.
  5. Take the TAMALPAIS DR exit toward PARADISE DR. (Corte Madera)
  6. Turn LEFT onto TAMALPAIS DR.
  7. Turn RIGHT into CORTE MADERA TOWN CTR. (shopping mall)
