GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE WALK & RALLY TO STOP THE SPRAY

WHERE:
SAN FRANCISCO SIDE: Bridge Parking Lot-- Park (car pool) at East Battery parking lot off Lincoln Blvd just below.

MARIN SIDE: Vista Point Parking Lot-- After walk, take Coastal Trail from Bridge Parking Lot to Mason St. and Crissy Field.

THERE ARE VERY SPECIFIC RESTRICTIONS FOR THIS MARCH FOR SAFETY PURPOSES:
We may only carry a total of 50 handheld signs, but we can pin signs to clothing. No flags, banners or balloons. Drums are limited, single file for walkers, etc. We will make quite a statement and hopefully pick up national press coverage on this one.
RALLY:
West end of Crissy Field, between Mason Street and Marine Sanctuary Visitor Center.
ASSISTANCE NEEDED:
Staffing assistance, including security and monitors needed.

Carpool:
We encourage people to carpool to address limited parking and minimize our footprint for this event. If you need a ride or are offering a ride, click HERE.
Parking:
Parking Marin Side: Coming down the Bridge side of the Waldo, stay in the right lane. The last exit sign says Sausalito and you go off to the right. Stop and turn left on the frontage road, go about 200 feet, then a right up towards the Headlands 50 feet and then a quick left into the parking lot. Drive down into the overflow Vista Point parking lot and take the path to the stairs under the Bridge to the other side of the Bridge. Walk up the stairs and stage there in the main Vista Point lot.
Parking San Francisco Side: Take a right at the last San Francisco exit off Highway 101 just before the Toll Plaza. The sign reads "Golden Gate National Recreation Area View Area". Proceed to the stop sign and turn left into the southeast parking lot.
Parking for the Rally: Along Mason Street going towards the buildings on the right in the direction of the Marina. There is a huge parking lot down by the sporting goods store, maybe 1/4 mile down Mason Street.

From San Francisco-- Muni's #28 and 29 buses go to the south side. Consult the Muni System map to plan your trip.
From Marin-- Call Golden Gate Transit (415-455-2000) for schedule. Buses available are:
70 - Novato - San Rafael - Marin City - San Francisco
